Before every game launch, leaked screenshots and videos are very common.
Ubisoft’s upcoming acrobatic revolutionary mercenary game, Assassin’s Creed Unity has joined the list as well. Even before the game gets released on November 11 officially, around the globe, screenshots of the game on the Playstation 4 are already out. It definitely looks gorgeous without a doubt and many internet forums confirm that the game runs on 900p, 30 fps as already confirmed by the developers.
For many Playstation 4 and Xbox One owners, this may not make much of a difference as they would just enjoy the game. But, for some fps addicts and maybe people who love playing on the PC would find this a great deal of a topic to discuss about it.
From the developers’ perspective, it was not that easy to make Assassin’s Creed Unity run on 1080p because of the intense world that they have created. They have added a lot of life to the maps where each character will react to your moves. Instead of being a dumb city, the Paris during the French revolution is going to be really proactive it seems.
But, with all this it is really bad to know that Playstation 4 or Xbox One the so-called next gen consoles couldn’t handle this, even though they got released just one year ago. We are really not sure at this rate, whether they will be even able to run a game in 1080p in the next two years or more. Sounds like Microsoft and Sony really lost their position this time, which demands a major revamp in the console industry.
Visuals Not as Sharp as Expected
The leaked screenshots of Assassin’s Creed Unity PS4 edition is definitely not as sharp as we expected it to be. A lot of gamers accepted this fact and discussions are going rife on all forums at the moment. But, none could change it because Ubisoft is doing what they could with the available hardware.
It’s not sure whether it is the hardware developers who did it all wrong or if developers are yet to know how to handle next gen consoles. Either way, if the game is good it could make up for it this year but the same can’t be said for future versions. Let’s hope things start falling in place but for now get ready to enjoy this exciting co-op title on a favorite platform of your choice.
