Asus is a well-known Taiwanese company that produces computer components, but releases smartphones also. The Zenfone 2 is the new device which was announced two months ago, in January. It is said that the device will be finally released in Taiwan today (March 23).

The most recent benchmark test performed by ePrice showed that the Asus Zenfone 2 was most likely very close to the best smartphones from LG, Google or Samsung. At the same time, the device is not that expensive, but still is almost as good as other top smartphones out there. The Zenfone 2 device comes with a 5.5inch full HD 1080 display that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 403 ppi. The device features a primary camera of 13MB on the rear side of the device which features LED flash and HD video recording and a secondary camera of 5MB on the front side of the device. The device comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, with the new ZenUI, and it’s powered by a non-removable battery for 3000 mAh Li-Polymer.
As for the internal memory, the Asus Zenfone 2 provides three variants of 64GB, 32GB and 16GB, and the last two variants support expansion up to 64GB. You can get the Zenfone 2 32GB variant of internal storage variant with 2GB of RAM at the price of 222 dollars. However, if you want to get the Zenfone 32GB variant of internal storage with 4GB of RAM, you will have to pay around 285 dollars. In case you are a person who likes to install a lot of applications or games or store music and videos, we suggest you to get the Zenfone 2 64GB internal storage variant with 4GB of RAM, but for this you will have to pay around 318 dollars.
It is good to know that the Zenfone 2 32GB and 64GB variants with 4GB of RAM are the models that will be sold in Taiwan.
The Zenfone 2 will also reach also be available in Hong Kong, Singapore, France and China this month while countries from Southeast Asia will get it sometime in April 2015. The device will also be available in Brazil in June 2015.
