For the first time, a Batman game is going to feature one of the biggest maps and Rocksteady added that they are competing with the likes of GTA 5 and Just Cause.
Creating open world games is not easy and Batman is one franchise that was never associated with such things. But, Arkham Knight which could probably be the last in the series that Rocksteady has created, the developers are keen on making it as huge as possible. When the trailer showed the lead character driving the bat mobile, gamers didn’t believe it. After all, it has been ages since one got vehicles in a Batman game. And, then they announced the concept of being able to play as multiple characters similar to the one used in GTA 5.
Villains with a Goal
All the villains in the world including Two Face, Scarecrow, Penguin, Joker and Fire fly are united to take down the dark knight. But, the problem is that even though they look united, each one of them has their own goals. Not all of them wish to kill Batman instead they want to break the myth that he created and also make sure the criminals gain power of the lands once again.
As villains are coming together, so are the heroes! Batman will not be alone in Arkham Knight but will have a couple of other characters aiding him including Robin, Cat Woman and Night Wing. Players can control different characters based on the situation while story will progress with the other characters.
The huge map which can be covered using the bat vehicle will also have a lot of side missions. Some of them contribute to the main story while others make the game play fun and make the world more alive in Arkham Knight. Everything about the game seems very similar to GTA 5. Rockstar made an amazing title of the generation and if Rocksteady could do the same, the upcoming next gen title could be the fitting finale for Batman, until a new studio takes over the franchise. Players can also choose to focus on one enemy at a time and travel a single storyline to experience the gripping tale filled with bone crunching combat.
