The first expansion for Destiny game is here for Xbox One and PlayStation consoles and it’s called The Dark Below.

You can get the patch The Dark Below for 20 dollars and download it right away. If you purchase the Expansion Pass for 35 dollars you will get the DLC The Dark Below and the upcoming DLC House of Wolves for free. In addition for getting the Expansion Pass you will also get the blue EV-30 Tumbler Sparrow.

What brings The Dark Below DLC to Destiny

You can now raise your Light level up to 32

The level cap remains at level 20 but as you already know you were able to raise your Light level up to level 30. However, the new expansion adds two more Light levels, which means that you can now raise Light Level up to level 32.

A new ride

The EV-30 Tumbler Sparrow is a level 100 durability flying “bike” which will allow you to drive faster, make midair tricks and fly across chasms. You will get it automatically after getting the expansion.

PlayStation players get an exclusive content

Destiny players that run the game on their PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 will get an extra co-op strike, called The Undying Mind”, which takes place in Mars and you need level 20 to attend it. Also, these players will get a new exotic shotgun called The 4th Horseman.

More about this new DLC

In addition, both the Xbox One and PlayStations players will receive a new co-op strike called The Will of Crota, where the players and their fireteam will have to battle with Crota’s number one and stop her from expanding her Hive army.

A new raid was also added, called Crota’s End which is in Hellmouth, located in the Ocean of Storms on the moon. This location has now new enemies that you will have to fight with. The new DLC also brings competitive multiplayer arenas such as: Skyshock, Pantheon and the Cauldron.

Problems with the DLC

Reports say that you may have some issues when trying to purchase this new DLC but it seems that Bungie is already working on this issue and will probably fix it soon (if they didn’t fix it already).
