Before you venture into the market to buy a smartphone, often the thought would cross your mind as to which handset to purchase.
However, with an array of smartphone companies joining the mobile arena on a regular basis, the decision has become all the more difficult.
Apart from the big guns monopolizing the market with their offerings, people have started to look towards other companies to curb their smartphone desires. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee, aims to establish itself in the smartphone arena with its updated and upgraded offering, the Elife E7 Mini. On the other hand, the Finnish Company Nokia, has changed its strategy, to claim a spot in the smartphone race, with a Windows Phone.
Today, we stack up the Nokia Lumia 1320 Windows Phone to the Elife E7 Mini smartphone, in order to determine a better purchase between the two.
In the display comparison, the Lumia 1320 incorporates a bigger 6-inch screen than that of the Chinese product. The bigger display of the Lumia 1320 handset offers the user with superb multimedia experience. However, the resolution of the Lumia 1320 display is a disappointment as compared to other premium products released by the Finnish Company. The phablet comprises of a remarkable IPS panel, but a poor 720p resolution. However, the panel offers notable contrast and exceptionally vibrant colors.
On the other hand, the E7 Mini handset incorporates a small 4.7-inch screen. Despite the screen being significantly smaller than the Lumia 1320 handset, the resolution offered by the Chinese handset is the same at 720p. For a smaller screen of 4.7-inch, the 720p resolution works perfectly fine. Both the handsets are at par in terms of display features.
Battery Usage and Camera Specs
Battery: With regards to camera specs and battery usage, the Lumia 1320 incorporates a bigger 3400 mAh battery unit. It is perhaps one among the biggest in the segment. In comparison, the Elife E7 Mini handset consists of a 2200 mAh battery unit. Regardless of the battery unit being smaller than the Lumia 1320 handset, the Elife E7 Mini provides admirable battery life.
Camera: In terms of camera specifications, the Lumia 1320 offers the user with a basic 5MP camera. However, the Windows Phone equips the camera with standard features such as full HD video capturing, autofocus, LED flash and a decent user-facing VGA camera.
The E7 Mini handset incorporates a massive 13MP camera. The smartphone comprises of a lot of features, such as the panorama view and rotating lens. However, the smartphone does not come equipped with a user-facing camera. Regardless, the camera captures the Full HD video capturing capability to that of its counterpart.
Memory and Connectivity
Memory: In terms of memory, the Lumia 1320 incorporates 8GB of internal storage capacity. However, the inclusion of an external memory card slot enhances the memory up to 64GB.
The Elife E7 Mini handset does not come equipped with external memory card slot, but offers the user with a decent 16GB of standard internal memory.
Connectivity: In terms of connectivity, both handsets offer basic connectivity options such as USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support. However, the Lumia 1320 handset offers Wi-Fi hotspot support, but does not support NFC Wi-Fi support.
The Elife E7 Mini handset offers NFC Wi-Fi support but lacks in offering Wi-Fi hotspot support.
