Google Chrome is a product of Google that was launched in 2008. Since then, it has been steadily going up the popularity ladder.
Currently, it is the most used browser as it is more efficient compared to its counterparts. Despite the fact that Google took up most of the ideas from the other services, it has been able to incorporate and improve them into one solid and reliable service. The user friendly interface and its efficiency have appealed to many internet users. It takes minimum time loading pages and you have an easy time browsing through them. For this reason, Chrome is able to interoperate with other apps such as a PDF reader.
In addition Chrome has a feature that enables you to sync your PC and mobile devices. This way you are able to save favorites and create bookmarks at ease.
Form and Functionality
This Google browser gives users both functionality and form. Form is comprised of a well organized and an interactive layout. It has simple and well defined features. It has the ability to accommodate browsing and search commands in one box. A user can also create shortcuts to multiple web applications. This will mostly comprise the frequently used applications such that they are easy to access.
If you have a Google account, you are able to synchronize your preferences and extensions. Once you have done that, it is possible for you to access them from any device as long as you are logged into your Google account.
Google Chrome has enabled tab browsing such that you can re-arrange or copy tabs as well as drag them to open in a new independent window with just a few movements of the mouse. The tabs operated independently, meaning that when one crashes the rest are still able to function normally.
When you click on a link, it opens right next to the tab in which the link was in the first place. This ensures that you have organized information and you do not need to look through all the tabs you have opened to see where the link led to.
Security and Privacy Features
Among all browsers, Chrome assures its users maximum security measures. Chrome comes with malware and phishing protection of its own. The regular updates ensure that your machine will have the most recent fixes. If you open a page that poses any threat to your device, you will instantly get a warning from Chrome concerning the malware.
Chrome ensures user privacy by enabling incognito mode. This simply means that your web history will not be recorded and you are at will to visit the sites that you please without the fear of another user finding out. Incognito mode will also get rid of all the cookies and passwords that are related to your browsing when it was enabled.
If you have not made the switch to Google Chrome, you might want to give it a try today.
