The GTA community is one of the most active gaming communities online and it is also one of the most informed communities.
Whereas many other games have forums that are abuzz with possible rumors about games, the GTA community is almost always right about what it predicts about the activity of the game developers. Right now, the community is abuzz with possible news of a new DLC launching right before the next gen launch of GTA 5. Right when the game was about to be launched on PS4 and Xbox One, it seems that Rockstar is planning for Heist DLC, one of the most anticipated additions to the game.
Interesting Tidbits about the DLC
Though it is still not completely clear whether the DLC will be launched ahead of the Next Gen launch of the game, DomisLive, a tipster from YouTube has decided to spill some beans about the possible DLC. The Last Team Standing update for GTA 5 has been really well received and much appreciated across the board. Ever since the update was rolled out, fans have been speculating that the update might be linked with another DLC – most probably Heist, which has been next in line for a release. A connection between the two has been rumored for a long time, and it seems that Rockstar may just put an end to all the speculation.
How are Last Team Standing and Heist Related?
If rumors are to be believed, Last Team Standing may have just opened a door for the entry of Heists. If that is true, Heist will end up receiving a lot of new features, including new gloves and armors, including a lot of new tactical gear. The GTA 5 is released on Xbox One and PS4 on November 18, and with that date inching closer, the re-mastered edition of GTA 5 is being anticipated very highly. It seems that Halloween might finally get an update from Rockstar, who may decide to unleash a special update on Halloween, or before the last day of October. If that does happen, then Heist may be pushed back further into November and its launch date may clash with the next gen release, or come immediately after it.
Other Possible Release Dates
Industry sources reveal that Rockstar may choose to dampen the Call of Duty Advanced Warfare party. As the game is set to release on November 4, Rockstar may finally release its Heist update on the same day to steal COD’s thunder away. This would also be the perfect plan to redirect players to GTA and to encourage them to engage with a whole lot of new content. If Rockstar decides not to play dirty, then it leaves us only with 11th November as a possible day for the release of the new DLC. Though some players feel that Rockstar may end up launching its DLC on 18th November, the same day it is planning to release the next gen version, it seems highly unlikely that the developers would take that chance and dilute their big moment with the release of a DLC.
