Are you enjoying slaying orcs in the new Lord of the Rings: Shadow of Mordor?
The game has opened to pretty much exciting reviews and looks great. We have had a chance to play it as well and the fighting mechanism in the game is one of the best. It has a lot of similarities to Assassin’s Creed and Batman Arkham Knight series, because of which you can enjoy the fluidity of your motion. Instead of waiting for someone to strike you, players have the freedom to take on an entire orc army and fight them all simultaneously with some of the best blocking and slashing moves. If you just can’t get enough of killing orcs and like to show off your brutal taste, the game developers have introduced an all new photo mode.
On current gen consoles including Xbox One and Playstation 4, the developers have released a new patch update. The update will bring in the new photo mode but apart from that we are yet to know the new things that the update is set to bring. The size of the update is quite large which is 655 mb on the Playstation 4 console and given the size, we assume it will bring in multiple bug fixes, patches and so on.
Killing orcs have always been fun and with the photo mode, you will now be able to take snapshots when you are busy murdering those pesky henchmen. While taking the pictures, you have the freedom to remove the user interface from the screen. Other tweaking options include being able to change the depth of the field, vary the field of view, tilt and so on. Once you do them all, you are all set to take the picture in a way you desire. We didn’t receive any official statement from the company but the discovery was rather made by a user on Reddit. He found the option on Xbox One console and later it was downloaded on the PS4 as well for confirmation.
Once you download the update for Shadow of Mordor, the photo mode tutorial will show up on the right of the screen. It will explain the feature and also ask you to activate it in the settings before using it. In the mode, you can also tweak the settings for the pictures but there’s no save button on the Xbox One console or any other way to share it. It is much easier on Playstation 4 as there is a dedicated share button to get it on social networks.
