Motorola is one of the biggest companies when it comes to the cell phone industry.
However, its name started fading away once the world started taking the smartphone direction and this company found it difficult to catch up with the trending smartphones.
Nonetheless, things have changed in the recent past and all of a sudden this company is competing with the elites like Samsung and Apple. Motorola has already given the market a taste of its products by the name of Moto G and Moto X and the mobile market has been shaken by these amazing devices.
Just recently, Motorola revealed their newest revelation by the name of Motorola Droid Turbo. Here’s a quick look at this smartphone.
Motorola never backs away from trying out new things and materials on their devices. With the Droid Turbo, Moto went for an extreme design and a measurement of 143.5 by 73.3 by 8.3-11.2 mm. This phone has an amazing look.
The Moto Droid Turbo comes in two material variants, with the usual rubberized plastic panel on the rear that looks a little bit slippery, but sleek; and another, with a Textile finish that comes in black color and cloth back that is woven in nylon to give it a futuristic look. However, this might be quite problematic, when dirt or dust enters the phone.
The Droid Turbo has been designed ergonomically, with its weight perhaps being the only disappointment, standing at 169 grams.
The Droid Turbo has a screen size of 5.2 inches, featuring an AMOLED display. The size of this screen is sufficient to provide users with the best viewing experience possible, while at the same time maintaining the compactness of the device.
This amazing display gets even better thanks to the Quad HD resolution that offers users with an amazing pixel density of 565 ppi. This combination makes viewing of HD content on this phone an enjoyable experience.
In order to keep pace with the trending devices, Motorola has installed some of the best hardware in the market today. The Moto Droid Turbo runs on the latest snapdragon 805 CPU that clocks a speed of 2.7 GHz. This quad-core processor is supported by a RAM of 3GB, which is more than enough to ensure the device stays lag free, when executing process and running demanding applications.
