All over the internet, there are articles saying that the HTC Nexus 9 is meant to be the device that will beat Apple’s iPad Air 2, but some new reports are saying that the upcoming device will have zero chances against the Apple device.
In concordance with Engadget, the Nexus 9’s blueprint is showing clearly that this device was made to be as good as any Android tablet makers or even better. The objective is to accelerate the shift from entry level to premium stage of Android tablets. It seems that Google is thinking that if all the Android sellers will collaborate closely with them, they will be able to defeat Apple together.
The result would lead to the production of some high end Android tablets that will have these default specs and features.
HTC was contacted by Google to make their upcoming Nexus 9 because the giant search engine saw how great design HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 had. Google understood that they need to create a device that has the elements of precision details, usability, tidy features and a good choice on build materials.
The Nexus 9 seems to be simple, but at the same time, beautiful, and the giant search engine wants the other Android tablet makers to take HTC by example.
According to Phone Arena, in a recent test made on GFXBench, iPad Air 2 dominated the Nexus 9 in the performance showdown. However, at the same time, the data also proves that Google is catching the lost ground with Apple. In fact, Google is so close that it might defeat Apple in 2015.
Google hopes to see some serious iPad Air competitors in the upcoming Android tablets, all having at least the same power that Nexus 9 has in it.
If until now we saw Google releasing devices in black color, it seems that Nexus 9 will also come in white and silver shades. According to Engadget, one of the things that Google would want to see on the Android tablet market is the diversity of colors, which will attract more people.
Price and Accessibility
Nexus 9 is priced at only 400 dollars, which suggests that Google wants to keep releasing top devices at a decent price, so everyone can afford them. This model should also be followed by other companies such as Sony, LG or Samsung.
Nexus 9 will be released no November 3, with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop and can now be pre-ordered from the Google Play Store.
