Nokia Lumia 920 vs Nexus 4 – Windows Flagship vs Android Flagship

Nokia Lumia 920 vs Nexus 4 – Windows Flagship vs Android Flagship By – Nov 4, 2014 5 0 SHARE

There are plenty of amazing devices out there, but the two that really grasp our attention each time we look at them are the Nokia Lumia 920 and the Nexus 4.

Both great devices come from companies that have always delivered quality to their users.

Both devices are really nice and sleek looking. The Nexus 4 is probably the nicest device that uses the Android OS, while the Lumia 920 (and any other Lumia to be honest) is definitely one of the best looking phones in general at the moment. The Nexus 4 provides a pretty nice grip when holding it due to its rubber finish. It doesn’t look as cheap as you would expect from a device that features a lot of plastic on it. It looks really nice and it is more than pleasant to look at. The Lumia 920 on the other hand, features an amazing design. It comes in a few available colors that you can change if you have extra panels that match the color you want. It comes in one piece polycarbonate body with a nice ceramic zirconium camera that adds some extra beauty to this device.

The Nexus 4 features a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (clocked at 1.5 GHz) that is combined with 2 GB of RAM. These specs are pretty decent and this device is capable of handling a wide variety of tasks. The Lumia 920 features a Snapdragon S4 as well, but in this case we’re only talking about a dual-core processor, as well as only the half amount of RAM memory available. This makes it a less powerful device; but the specs are still sufficient for normal operation. You might not be able to handle every task that you can think of, but you will certainly be able to handle a more than decent amount of them.

The difference in price is something that most users will find very important. The Nexus 4 is a much cheaper phone, which doesn’t mean that it is a device that offers lesser quality than the Lumia 920. The Nexus series have been known to be high-end phones that can brag with a mid-range price. The Lumia 920 is a more expensive phone, but it is justified, as it is a really great and durable device. The difference in price is mainly due to Nexus series being popular mainly for their price and so far they have been true to that. The question is – how long will that last?

Final Thoughts

We have two amazing devices on our hands and it is really hard to decide which one should take the trophy. The Nokia Lumia 920 is a beautiful device that can really brag about it being one of the nicest looking phones out there, but the specs diminish the final score a bit (the specs are fine, it’s just that the Nexus 4 is a more powerful device). The Nexus 4 is a great device, and it looks really beautiful, especially when compared to other Android devices that are currently on the market. The specs that it features are really powerful. With everything combined, it is a device that will make you very happy should you choose to get it.
