However, the Canvas Knight A350, being an Indian smartphone manufacturer product, does not seem that way. Canvas Knight A350 appears more to be a premium and international brand product. Hence, the smartphone deserves the right to be compared to various offerings from the Korean giant.
In terms of appearance, the Canvas Knight A350 handset appears similar to that of the Apple iPhone 5S smartphone. Both the handsets come in similar cuts and sides. Moreover, both the handsets incorporate granite frame. In addition, the Micromax handset does not come equipped with a microSD card slot for memory enhancement. This implies that both these handsets cannot enhance their memory. The user has to be content with the in-built memory of the handset.
In comparison, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 phablet incorporates a similar design as that of the Galaxy S3 smartphone. However, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 comes in a more angular design as compared to the canvas Knight A350 handset. In addition, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 handset comprises of slimmer bezels than its counterpart.
In terms of weight and thickness, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 bags the round being a lightweight and slimmer handset. However, the phablet is much too big, even for a tablet.
In terms of display, the Micromax Canvas Knight A350 handset incorporates a better display than the Galaxy Mega 5.8 phablet. The Full HD IPS screen of the Knight A350 edges past the TFT capacitative screen of the Galaxy Mega 5.8 phablet.
Brightness and Resolution:The Knight A350 offers decent brightness, even under bright daylight conditions. The 5-inch IPS display comes equipped with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels along with a pixel density of 443-ppi (pixels per inch).
In comparison, the Galaxy Mega 5.8-inch display is certainly bigger than the 5-inch display of the Knight A350 handset. However, the TFT capacitative display of the Samsung handset is unable to compete in front of the Full HD IPS screen of the Knight A350. The Mega 5.8-inch display incorporates a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels along with a pixel density of 190-ppi, which is much lesser than the Micromax handset.
