Temple Run 2 is an addictive endless running game and everyone who loved the original version, Temple Run, will also enjoy playing this mobile game.
You can play it anywhere and it’s a great time-killer that you can just pick up when you have the time; put down when you’re busy; and pick up once again when you’re not busy anymore. You can play it in school, at the office, on the train or bus, during a flight, or at home when you have a lot of time all by yourself.
Unlike other mobile games where you need to wait some time for the lives to be filled again or for your structures to finish building, Temple Run 2 is easily played – why, you can even continue your run even after your character dies with the use of gems. The secret of playing like a real pro in Temple Run 2 is to practice. If you have just downloaded Temple Run 2 and are playing for the first time, it can be expected that you won’t get a high score or that your character will hit obstacles or fall to its death but that’s alright because every player starts like that, but with enough practice and playing hours, you will be running like a pro ninja in no time.
The first thing you need to do is complete as many objectives as you can. Temple Run 2 is not like Temple Run where you can do multiple objectives at once – you need to wait for when the objective becomes available, otherwise it won’t count even if you have already done it in your previous run. Every time you have finished an objective, you’ll get rewarded and as the objectives become more difficult, the rewards will also get bigger.
Collect and Upgrade Power-ups
Scattered along your path are the same coins, power-ups, and green gems like the ones in Temple Run. Tilt your device and swipe your fingers to collect them and to avoid obstacles. If you get enough coins, make sure that you upgrade each power-up. Green gems are more difficult to collect as they only appear occasionally during your run but they pose a great importance in the game so you need to make sure that you’re able to grab each of them you encounter – even if that means risking your life or sacrificing the run for it.
Use the Gems Wisely
Gems allow you to continue your run even after you have died. The first time it will resurrect you, you only need one gem, and if you fail again, the amount of gem required will double, and so on and so forth. It is important that you use the gems wisely and don’t use them every time you died. The best times to use the gems are if you’re near your highest score and if you have already beaten your high score. If you’re high score is at 1 million and you died at around 500,000, don’t use any gems at all. On the other hand, if you died and your score is at 900,000 or more than a million, then you can use gems to resurrect your character to continue your run.
