The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Brings a Groundbreaking Cinematic Trailer

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt developed by CD Projekt RED has many attributes, but being subtle is not one of them.

Ever since the franchise kicked off, the developers have always tried their best to outwit themselves every time. The last outing was a huge success and after spending multiple years in development, they are all set to show off the new game in 2015. It was supposed to get launched this year but they were just not happy with the end product and decided to tweak it even further.

The developer diaries were definitely interesting where they showed the world where Gerald has to face danger at almost every corner, survive on the land and the sea, while helping simpletons in achieving their goals. It was an interesting addition but it is the new cinematic trailer that got released has caught the eye of everyone. The trailer is one of the most ground breaking creations in recent times and easily makes you fall in love with the franchise, whether you already like it or not!

Opening Cinematic

While the release date of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is a long way to go and there are multiple game releases in between; the opening cinematic simply commemorates the world that CD Projekt RED has created. The story is revealed in an exciting fashion here where Gerald examines the incidents of the past and his lost love who is a sorceress. She’s Yennefer from Vengerberg who’s stuck in the middle of the battle and the video depicts what happened to her in the most cinematic fashion.

The way they have made the trailer, it doesn’t stop but simply kept us wondering whether the gaming industry is much higher in terms of quality and deliverance when compared to Hollywood. Maybe, it is why games like Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell are already being made into movies so that they could share some of the awesomeness.

The beautiful trailer for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt has made sure you just can’t wait to play the game when it launches next February, because it is really riveting and would keep you asking for more. There is no news on whether it will run on 1080p on both next gen consoles but the PC version is surely going to be on top of everything else as their primary focus is on the platform, while consoles come next.
