The time spent at the Playstation Experience was without a doubt one of the best ever to happen in many weeks and it was like a mini-E3, but with more games that are often exclusive for the Playstation 4 console.
The next gen has officially kicked off with this event, because anything and everything shown here is not coming to the Playstation 3 or that’s what we assumed.
There may be some we might have missed at the booths and the theater, but it was all about showing you how cool it will be to own the new hardware. The holiday sales are coming up and most of all, a lot of exclusive games have been lined up, among which, Uncharted 4 without a doubt, is the best of the lot. It’s not just another game, but the game that defines the Sony experience, besides God of War and other exclusives.
Visually the Best
If you haven’t watched the fifteen minute game play video, the people at Naughty Dog showed during the Playstation experience, it’s time you find it on YouTube right now and start watching it. The graphics in Uncharted 4 is visually the most impressive title on next gen and it truly defines how far the hardware can be pushed to bring out the best. After a lot of HD remakes, it is finally good to see developers making games which are complete and show off the best side of the console.
The world is so alive, filled with forests, trees and leaves that occasionally move with the wind. Then, you have the cliffs and the huge ocean right below. A sense of depth is rendered to the game because of the graphics fidelity and if this is how a new generation of games are going to look like, then it’s worth it and gaming would be much more fun in the upcoming years.
While fan favorite Nathan Drake’s moving like pushing the enemy off the cliff has been added promptly, new ones can be found in Uncharted 4 that makes it more interesting. When you try to push an enemy off the cliff, while you are hanging, he holds on to your legs and won’t leave them until you kick him off with your boots. Drake also makes good use of the Jones inspired rope and has multiple firing techniques which allow you to make good use of the gun. This is just a sample, we presume.
