Nokia mobile phones usually run Symbian, S40, S60, Android Windows Phone and Windows RT OS. Today we’re going to talk about Nokia E63, E71 and E72, three mobile devices that run on Symbian.
WhatsApp 2.12.21 is the latest BETA version for Nokia E63, Nokia E71 and Nokia E72. In order to install the latest WhatsApp BETA version on one of the three devices we’ve mentioned above, you will need to manually download the .sis file from the official WhatsApp website (whatsapp.com).
After downloading the WhatsApp 2.12.21 SIS file on your smartphone, you will need to manually install it. To do this, you will need a file manager application such as X-Plore, which can be downloaded and install from the official store.
HINT: Before you install this WhatsApp BETA version on your Nokia E63, Nokia E71 or Nokia E72, make sure that you uninstall the current WhatsApp version that you have installed on your Symbian device.
Once you have installed this file manager, open it and head to the location where you’ve saved the WhatsApp 2.12.21 SIS file. Now, run the WhatsApp 2.12.21 SIS file to start installing the latest WhatsApp BETA version on your Symbian device. When the installation is complete, you will have to use your mobile phone number to get verified and once you’ve got verified you will be able to start using the latest WhatsApp BETA version on your Symbian device!
Unfortunately, the WhatsApp Voice Calling feature is not yet available for Symbian devices. Currently, there are no rumors saying if this feature will be added to WhatsApp for Symbian devices.
Currently the WhatsApp Voice Calling feature is available for Android, iOS and BlackBerry 10. However, the feature still needs some working to be done on it, as several users reported that while using the WhatsApp Voice Calling feature, they’ve noticed that the calls are either lagging or ending all of the sudden.
