If you are not sure yet if you want to buy the Nexus 9, Nexus 6 or update your device to Android 5.0 Lollipop, then we will give you 8 reasons to do it.

Great interface

Some early reviews of the Nexus 9 and Nexus 6 showed that Google has worked a lot on the design interface and with that being said, Android 5.0 will come with a great interface that will please your eyes.

A tool for health

Google has finally come with a health tool on the new Android 5.0 Lollipop, which everyone will be able to use and enjoy. It will probably be even better with if you own a smartwatch device.

Sharing your device

Android 5.0 Lollipop gives you the opportunity to run multiple user profiles and allows you even to create a user profile. This is great if you are sharing your device with your kids. This way, you are sure that your kids will not mess up with your device’s settings or delete emails by mistake, etc.

Improved security

Android 5.0 comes with improved security with features such as Smart Lock, Data Encryption and Face unlock. These features make your device very difficult to get hacked.

Improved notifications

You will be able to filter notifications alerts and hide the ones that are not important so that only the important notifications will be brought to your attention. You will also be able to take actions of those notifications from the device’s lock screen.

Optimized for accessories

Lollipop come with keyboard shortcuts that will automatically become available when paired with a keyboard accessory, like how it happens when you pair a keyboard accessory with your Nexus 9.

OK Google

Using OK Google, you will be able to control your device by using your voice only. This is great when you are driving a car or when you simply don’t want to waste time on actually doing stuff, like searching for a bar or café. Instead, you will ask your phone to do this for you.

Extended battery life

Thanks to a project named Volta, Android now comes with a more efficient energy use on all the devices that will run Android 5.0. Google said that thanks to this feature, 90 more minutes will be “added” to your battery life if the device will run Android 5.0.
