The upcoming Galaxy S6 is a great smartphone that Samsung worked on. Samsung’s financial results in 2014 weren’t the greatest and they had to come with an improved Galaxy S5 sequel.
In 2014, the Galaxy S5 was not so well sold, as in November Samsung said that they’ve sold 40% less units than they’ve expected. However, in 2015 they will release the Galaxy S6 which is expected to be very well received by consumers.
Here are some of the features that we will see on the upcoming Galaxy S6.
The Galaxy S6 will most likely come with a QHD display that will support a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. If this will happen, then this device will be the first 4K smartphone that Samsung ever released.
Since Samsung is in a direct competition with Apple, they will need to bring a good processor in order to keep the pace with the American multinational corporation.
The Galaxy S6 will most likely feature an Exynos 7420 processor that will be released for the Asian markets and for the western markets it will feature a 64bit Snapdragon 810 octa core processor.
Samsung will need to work on the storage capacity as Apple will most likely release the iPhone 7 smartphone with 256GB of internal memory. In order to keep the pace with the storage capacity, they will also have to make some changes to boost the internal memory with a microSD card slot.
Samsung has continuously impressed its fans with the battery life that the devices had. They will most likely increase the battery size on the upcoming Galaxy S6. In addition, we have to mention that Samsung had a demonstration during CES 2015, where they’ve showed a Samsung smartphone that was fully charged from scratch within a few minutes.
While this feature will most likely not be imported to the Galaxy S6, it is a sign that the company will bring that feature to its future devices. With a bit of hope, we can see that feature being added to the Samsung devices that will be released in the next year.
The 16MP camera that is present on Galaxy S5 was quite impressive and received appreciations from the buyers. However, the Korean company will most likely improve their camera, because Apple is planning to do the same with their iPhone 7.
Samsung has always brought us devices that come with great image quality but at the same time they have a friendly functionality. The Galaxy S6 will most likely feature a 21MP primary camera that will make some outstanding photos.
