ZTE will soon be launching a new frontline device for its series of smartphones, namely the ZTE S2004.
It has already established quite a name from a TENAA listing, which wouldn’t come off as a surprise due to the superior specs it offers, mainly a quad core processor altogether with a 3 GB RAM. This model will be coming out in the market as a tandem with the Q509T from a different series of the ZTE smartphone lines.
The ZTES2004 is one of today’s most anticipated phones of today because of its competitive specs without pocket-hurting price. On the note of a release date, it still remains unclear, but those who are waiting on it pretty much already have an idea on what it will be like as far as performance and design goes. Basically, it is reported to have a 5.5-inch screen size and that it will be running with the new Android Kitkat OS. The handset will have a dimension around 154 x 77 x 9.88 with a weight of approximately 170 grams, which promises to give a more sophisticated and much lighter feel compared to its predecessor units.
High Speed Performance and Edged Multimedia
With the running capacity that of a 2.5 GHz Quad Core processor, the S2004 is said to exhibit a more powerful performance rate, preventing any lags and glitches from happening with how it can cater several background apps effectively through the 3GB RAM integration. If this is the case, it will definitely be perfect for high end games today in the market, especially console emulation games such as ePSXe and PSP clocking applications. For multimedia purposes, this device can definitely provide crisp and clear images through its 8-megapixel autofocus camera, supported by a new and improved dual LED flash hardware. No information has been disclosed on the front camera yet, but it is rumored to be as promising as the Galaxy S5’s. Quite an ambitious but definitely reasonable claim to make.
Leaked Specs of the ZTE S2004
This device will be able to provide a much wider storage capacity than most ZTE smartphones so far with its internal disk space of 16GB. One of the things that may cause an issue here, however, is that it is reported to not have any external memory card slot. Regardless, this device will offer the staples of mobile connectivity such as Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS networks and Bluetooth. There are also rumors that the device is built for the purpose of competing against most high performing budget phones on the market today, like the Asus Zenfone 5 and 6, which are both known for their useful nuances such as the low-light and panorama camera features. A couple other important features to note would be its Proximity & Light Sensor as well as a much more intuitive Gravity Sensor.
Just as the release date, the price of the upcoming ZTE S2004 still remains vague. Distributions will begin in the China, Singapore, India and the UK in not more than a month from now according to insider critiques. So, will it be a phone worth opting to? Going by the features, definitely a yes. Nevertheless, an update on the price will surely be the highest determining point for that.
Until we get to see the real device and see the real deal on the specifications we can only speculate and report on rumours but when we do get hold of one you’ll be the first to hear about it.
