Without hesitation, 9 out of 10 Android users and smartphone users in general will name battery life as the area that needs biggest improvement.
Luckily, for the Android users, the new Android 5.0 Lollipop update brings a series of improvements, one of which is battery life. Recent tests have shown that the battery life of flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8 and the LG G3 has been vastly improved since the update.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Battery Improvements
The biggest improvement the Samsung Galaxy S5 got is in the endurance section. On standby mode, the phone lasts 11 more hours. Before the update, the Galaxy S5 lasted 72 hours. With the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, the handset can now last for 83 hours.
