There’s a new mobile version of Warzone that’s bound to be released, and we’re all excited.
All of the Call of Duty fans were ready for the release of the first season of Vanguard, with the new Caldera Pacific Map, but it seems that there are more surprises coming our way.
Everyone has been talking about a mobile version of the Battle Royal title for a very long time, and leaks showed that Call of Duty: Mobile would get a Verdansk playable map. But more leaks are coming our way, and it seems that the game will be called ‘Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.’
According to industry insider, Tom Henderson, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be released in 2022. A playtest version was released to the Playtest Cloud Database, and it was first seen in Just4Leaks.
This is all we know so far about the mobile version. Henderson didn’t give us a specific release date, but at least we have some idea of it.
It might come together with Call of Duty 2022, which is a rumors sequel for Modern Warfare, which was released in 2019. But is this what Activision really wants? A huge mobile version release to take all of the spotlights from the yearly Call of Duty launch?
Speaking of the yearly launch, it has been said that the company wants to stop releasing a new game every year. Since 2005, with Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty has come with a new game every year, so it’s unlikely that’ll stop now.
All we can say for sure for now is that all of these are rumors, and we need to take them with a grain of salt. Plans usually change, especially before the release.
