Christmas is just around the corner, and let’s get honest: everyone loves it. And while we’re getting ready for the festive season in real life, games are also preparing something for us. Call of Duty Vanguard, for example, has many surprises for us, plenty of Christmas activities for the multiplayer.

In terms of rewards, just as it happened with the Halloween event, Vanguard has prepared many rewards for its players. The challenges are getting harder and harder, but that doesn’t mean that they’re at a loss of fun. A Call of Duty leaker has talked about unlockable items from the files of the game, and festive Calling Cards and Stickers are awaiting us.

When it comes to operators, we already know that a crossover is happening. We’ve seen it before and we’ve loved it. Ghostface from Scream, as well as action icons, John McClane and John Rambo, we’re previously seen in the series. So what happens for Christmas? Well Krampus, the Christmas Evil is coming to town, according to the files.

The Festive Fervor event

The event starts on the 17th of December, and it comes with new challenges, rewards and free multiplayer. There will be a survival challenge, called Beware Krampus!, and another one called Elf Team 6 hunting. We’re also getting a limited-time mode called Festive Fervor Armageddon, that comes with new cosmetics and a free multiplayer mode. It will last from the 18th of December to the 21st of December.

The map came as a surprise. It will be a festive re-skin of Shipment with a Drop Zone – which you might recognize from Modern Warfare 3.

Also, make sure you keep in mind the deals from the 14th until the 25th of December, which is the perfect occasion for you to get cosmetics.
