We have recently learned more about the new killer in Dead by Daylight – it’s the girl from Ringu. But what is Ringu, exactly?
In 22 Chapters so far, Dead by Daylight has presented some pretty awesome crossovers. And Chapter 23 has not disappointed. The Ringu universe is here, and we’re telling you all you need to know about it.
Ringu is a Japanese horror movie that’s based on a novel with the same name. The plot is simple: people watch a tape, and then they die. The main villains of the series are Shizuko Yamamura, and her daughter, Sadako, who carries a deadly curse with them. The curse should be either broken, or everyone who watches the tape dies. You should watch the movie. There’s also a series of American movies, which is a must-watch.
Dead by Daylight has Sadako Yamamura as the new killer – probably because she played such a big role in the horror genre. The collab will happen in March 2022, and right now we’re waiting for more details on this matter.
