A lot of rumors started circulating all over the internet about Gamescom 2014 and the possibility of Bethesda revealing Fallout 4 at this event, which will take place in Cologne, Germany on August 13-17.
Pete Hines, the vice president of Bethesda Softworks, negated the reveal of Fallout 4 at the Gamescom event, saying on his twitter that on this event Bethesda is coming with The Evil Within and Elder Scrolls Online, and this news made sad a lot of Fallout fans, who hoped for a reveal of their favorite game.
So, at Gamescom 2014, Bethesda is coming with The Evil Within, a horror survival video game and The Elder Scrolls Online, a MMORPG game. The Evil Within is helmed by Shinji Mikami, the person who worked for the Resident Evil series, and this game is scheduled to be released on October 21 for the next-generation consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. The Elder Scrolls Online was already released on April 4, 2014, but it came only for Linux and Windows PC. However, it is speculated that this game will most likely come for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One soon.
Now, since we have a confirmation that Fallout 4 will not bee seen at Gamescom 2014, it is speculated that this game will come at the Spike’s Video Game Awards (VGA) 2014, which is usually held in December. Bethesda also confirmed that Fallout 4 will not be featured at Quakecon 2014, which will be held in Mississippi on July 17-20, 2014.
Do you think that Bethesda will bring Fallout 4 until the end of this year? If not, what are the chances to see it in 2015?
