Google has made a habit of revealing its brand new software at the Google I/O convention that takes place every year. The Android M is scheduled to be released in the near future and everybody is curious to see if it will be implemented in the Google Nexus 5 (2015).
Rumor has it that Google will uncover its Android M at the 2015 Google I/O expo, which will begin on the 28th of May, meaning this Thursday. This new OS is also pointing at a new gadget inauguration by Google. Google is no stranger to this kind of strategy as it was previously used when Motorola Nexus 6 was unveiled and received the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
As far as the launch date for Google Nexus 5, this will supposedly take place in the fall season of the year 2015. By then, the Nexus 6 gizmo will celebrate a full year, since it was launched on the market. Of course the new Android M will be implemented in the gadget as well as some great updates. According to various reports, the gadget will roll out with a 5.7 inch OLED type screen having 1440×2560 pixels and of course the processor will be a Snapdragon 810.
According to Android Police, the Android M which will be operating on Google Nexus 5 will also be implemented into other devices such as the LG Nexus 5, but there will be a short list of others that will not get it. Apparently, these Nexus gizmos will all get the system upgrades for almost 2 full years and security fix-ups for 3 more years. And because the Nexus 6 and 9 are still available, they will surely benefit from these upgrades. As for the LG Nexus 5, this will get the software upgrades as well as all of the security upgrades for one more year.
The Nexus 7 is expected to get the system upgrade (up until the summer of 2015) as well as the security one (up until the summer of 2016). But the rest of the Google gadgets, we are referring to the Nexus 4, 10 and the 7 (the latter is the 2012 version) will be left out. But not to worry, the security upgrades will still be up and running.
Google hasn’t officially announced all the gadgets that will get the new Android M, but everything will be out in the open once the Google I/O convention starts.
