Recent rumors confirm that GTA 5 PC version is being developed by the people who earlier made Max Payne 3 for Windows platform.
It is nearly confirmed now and if it is, then it’s great news for every PC gamer because the game would be well optimized and will run on all computers without giving too much trouble for your gaming rigs.
Meanwhile, in a gaming forum a Rockstar representative has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC will not be a port and it won’t repeat the same mistake as it did with GTA IV. It will be a game dedicated for the platform and will have all the features besides many options to tweak the graphics as required by individual gamers.
Max Payne 3’s Performance
For any gamers who have already played Max Payne 3 on PC, it is evident that the game was one of the best on the PC even though it was more like a port. It is not sure whether it was developed right from the start for the Windows platform but the game didn’t have any lags, besides having a powerful performance on all types of graphics. The release date for GTA 5 is really close as New Year is just around the corner but Rockstar has not officially announced the recommended and minimum requirements for the PC edition.
But, the game will definitely look much better on computers because of the fact that it is going to provide full support for 4K resolution which is one of a kind. Not many games support this resolution except for the newly released Ryse Son of Rome from Crytek. While Crytek has always been ahead in terms of graphics, it is great to see Rockstar step up and provide an amazing experience for PC gamers.
Gameplay Additions
Based on the official announcements, GTA 5 will have a first person mode on PC as well as an exclusive video editor. There will be more wildlife, vegetation, better textures and all new additional DLCs which have already been released on the Playstation 3 as well as on the Xbox 360 console.
However, there is no word on the most important online heists DLC for GTA online yet. So far, no announcement has been made and it may have been postponed and may be released only after the PC edition gets out. Stay tuned and we will let you know as soon as news comes up.
