The iPad Air 2 has brought good revenue to Apple and soon enough they will most likely announce a new version, which probably will be called iPad Air 3.
Today, we’re going to talk about the iPad Air 3 tablet and when it is expected to be released, what features it will come with and of course, what will be its price.
Expected Specifications
The iPad Air 2 features a three-core A8X processor, which is a modified version of the A8 processor that is available on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The upcoming iPad Air 3 will most likely feature a quad-core processor.
Design
The upcoming iPad Air 3 will most likely be significantly slimmer than the iPad Air 2. If they manage to reduce the size of the parts that are inside the case, they will most likely have space for a way bigger battery, which means that this will help a lot. Let’s not forget that the battery is one of the main problems on all mobile devices.
Battery
The iPad Air 2 comes with a super skinny battery which doesn’t have too much power. Let’s not forget that the iPad Air 2 was released with a battery of 7340mAh, while its predecessor had a bigger battery of 8600 mAh. Without any doubts, the upcoming iPad Air 3 will need bigger juice, or else there will be a lot of people who will not buy the device because of its small battery.
New features
Apple should bring some better speakers on the upcoming iPad Air 3. According to rumors, the iPad Air 3 will also feature USB Type-C connector. However, we’re not sure if Apple is going to “surrender” to the Lightning port yet.
A good feature that should be brought to the iPad Air 3 is the one that will detect how hard you’re pressing the screen, which will be awesome for drawing applications.
Release date and Price
Apple usually keeps the release path on their devices. We remind you that the iPad Air was released on November 1, 2013 while the iPad Air 2 was released on October 22, 2014. This means that the iPad Air 3 will most likely be released sometime in October-November 2015.
Apple will probably keep the price range closely to that of the iPad Air 2. With other words, the iPad Air 3 will most likely cost at least 500-600 dollars and depending on the internal memory capacity, you will pay up to 700-800 dollars.
