Fans and Apple enthusiasts are still in the dark regarding the release of the iPhone 6 successor, the iPhone 7. Initially, it was believed that Apple would release the iPhone 7 around the time their previously released models, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, would complete a full year cycle. However, recent speculations have a lot of people believe that the iPhone 7 won’t see the light of day until next year. Instead of the Apple iPhone 7, however, users might get the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
Apple Insider has reported that the company is planning on bringing forward the Apple iPhone 6S and 6 S Plus with several enhancements around September, so if that is the case, there’s no time left for Apple to treat fans with an iPhone 7 release. Some of the improvements users can expect from the “S” models are a bigger screen, and a universal SIM card called Apple SIM, pre-installed.
Some speculations claims that alongside the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, Apple is also planning on launching the iPhone 6C. Backing this theory are the images that leaked online. The images show the rear shell of the presumably iPhone 6C, which at first sight looks a lot like the iPhone 5C. However, if you investigate a little closer, it actually resembles the iPhone 5S. Unfortunately, there are no news about specifications regarding the iPhone 7. What we know so far is that the device will have at least 2 GB of RAM and most likely feature the A9 chip from Apple. Also, fans can also expect some fancy features such as crystal glass or a liquid metal casing. That being said, we’ll have to wait and see what Apple has in store for the latest installment in there iFranchise, which will most likely drop sometime during 2016.
