It is that time of the year. HTC and Samsung have played their cards, announced their new flagship and now it is time to get hyped up and excited about the latest flagship from LG, the LG G4.
We are close to the release date of the phone and as the date is getting closer, rumors linked with the specs and the design of the phone are spreading. The latest report is about the camera of the phone. Thanks to a benchmark test, we now know the power of the camera of the LG G4.
Camera Rumors
According to the benchmark tests, the LG G4 will feature a 15-MP front facing sensor and a rather unconventional 7-MP snapper on the front. Compared to its predecessor, the rear camera is upgraded from the previous 13-MP one, while the LG G3 had a 2-MP sensor on the front. The rear camera will still have optical image stabilization and dual LED flash, two features that made the G3 very good camera phone. Compared to the other flagships on the market, the front camera of the G4 is the best. The Samsung S6 has a 5-MP sensor on the front, while the HTC One M9 uses the 4-MP ultrapixel sensor. However, the rear camera is not on the level with the competition. The S6 has a 16-MP sensor with OIS and dual LED flash. The HTC One M9 has the most powerful camera, with a 20-MP sensor, but it lacks optical image stabilization.
Release Date Rumors
The LG G4 is expected to hit the market sometime in May. The company has scheduled an event for April 28, on which many expect the G4 to be announced. However, from the moment the smartphone is announced, till the moment it hits the stores, it will take some time.
