A lot has happened for PlayStation owners, including some of the games being delayed. PlayStation 5 was announced, and we also got to learn more about Sony’s two flagship titles, God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West. They will be available soon. They have both been delayed, so we are not quite sure when. But the console has seen a lot of great titles, like Returnal, which got positive reviews from the audience and from critics. The pedestal for action games has been set quite high with this one.
2021 is almost over, and we are now seeing what the developers have in mind for the end of the year. The Game Awards 2021 came with plenty of announcements, and we believed that this event was the biggest one – and the last one – of the year. But it seems that there’s more to that thought.
Many sources have claimed that Sony is preparing for State of Play for this December. Leakers state the event will actually take place this year, and that Sony has made a lot of preparations for it. We’ve heard that we will probably get more details some time next week.

This event will be the State of Play, and not a PlayStation Showcase or Experience, as people stated before. December is still not over, so, right now, we are waiting for some information on this matter.
What can we expect from the rumoured State of Play?
There’s a rumour out there that this State of Play will come with Hogwarts Legacy. The game is supposed to be released in 2022 on PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
