Samsung is one of the best-earning companies when it comes to smartphones. The quality devices they have presented us over the past years surely justify their success in this market. Last year, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was released, becoming a huge success for the Korean manufacturer. This year, however, even though the Samsung Galaxy S6 is next in line, the device seems to gather less attention than the Galaxy Note 5, which is farther away. The Note 5 is expected to drop sometime during September, just like the Note 4 did. Some specifications for the Note 4 successor have already leaked and by the looks of these specs, we can rest assured that the next phablet giant from Samsung will carry on the Note line with honor. Let’s talk a look at what Samsung is jamming into their new Note.
4K have reported that the next Note smartphone will be carrying a 4K display, assuring users that the visual quality of the phone will be tremendous. The processing capabilities will allegedly rest in the hands of the Exynos 7420 SoC,, with an internal storage capacity ranging from 16 GB to 128 GB. A microSD card slot will also be available adding up to 128 GB of storage. All this space could be used to stock the HD photos you will take using the 18 MP rear camera featured on the device, or the 6/7 MP shooter on the front.
These photos will apparently be visible on a 5.9 inch display. Regarding the screen’s resolution, there are multiple probabilities. One says the device will come with an UltraHD resolution. The same rumor source indicated that the device will have 4 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processing unit.
Also, Concept Phone reports based on a concept design by Maryum Ayub that the smartphone will come with a full metal chassis and a curved body. They also speak of a Gorilla Glass 5 protection layer and a 4k Super AMOLED screen, measuring 5.9 inches. Another scenario shows the device featuring the Exynos chip clocked at 3.2 GHz and Android 6.0 on the software side, with a 19 MP camera and a 32 GB/4 GB storage/RAM configuration.
