The latest Samsung Galaxy S series flagship is the Galaxy S6 and with this phone, you will have yourself a new model of Samsung, when compared to what you are used to seeing with past flagships.
Samsung Galaxy S6 is actually the spearhead of all Samsung flagships and alongside Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge; these two devices are two of the top smartphones to be manufactured in 2015. The idea of this smartphone on paper is exceptional, leave alone the physical device itself. This phone is expected to cause ripples in the smartphone world, thanks to its amazing design and unmatched specifications.
Samsung Galaxy S6 was launched about a month ago and since then; this product has been causing waves in the technology world. The Galaxy S6 takes a new design where Samsung have adopted a new material for the body of the device as opposed to the usual plastic that had been the norm for many of this company’s flagships.
Samsung Galaxy S6 not the perfect smartphone yet
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is with no doubt one of the best smartphones, if not the best, there is today. Many of those who have come across the specifications of this device are of the view that it is the most perfect device there is today. However, it seems that these people are quickly forgetting that the Galaxy S5 had its flaws and as such, the Galaxy S6 is simply an improvement of this device. If this is the case, there will probably emerge a new device that is much more powerful and better than the Galaxy S6.
As a matter of fact, there is always a scope for improvement and a simple look at this device won’t convince you that this is necessary. There are lots of things that can still be improved on the current Samsung flagship so as to make it a near perfect phone, for instance, improving the battery life, performance, camera, charging system and many other areas.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Android 5.1 Update
Some of these improvements have already come in, courtesy of the new Android 5.1 Lollipop update that was recently rolled out.
For the very first time, Samsung Galaxy S6 users will now enjoy the services of the S Voice. Even though this feature already exists on a number of Samsung devices, not all of them can access this feature. Even though this new S Voice feature has some negative effects on the performance of your device, it adds to the huge list of rich features that Samsung offers its users.
In order to start the S Voice on your Samsung Galaxy S6, you must double tap on the home button. When this feature is active, your device will react slowly to home button actions. However, you can still deactivate the feature at any time.
Another update that has been included in the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy S6 is the ability to disable touch sounds. By disabling this feature, you will be able to prolong the life of your phone’s battery and in this way; you can stay online for longer periods of the day.
