World War II was the deadliest military conflict in the history of our world. Over 70 million people lost their lives because of that war while disease and famine related to event have killed 19-28 million people. The Allied Forces (the USA, Britain, the Soviet Union, China, etc.) fought against the Axis Powers (Germany, Italy, Japan, etc).
It was just a matter of time until that crucial and sad event in the history of our world would be mimicked in video games. There are countless video games on all consoles that are based on the Second World War, and probably many more will be released.
One of the WWII-based games is the new ‘Men of War II’ game created by Best Way and published by Fulqrum. Those willing to give the game a try can do so very easily as long as they have a Windows-based PC. The system requirements are also very ‘friendly.’
‘Men of War II’ is available on Steam NOW
Men of War II is now available via Steam in its beta version. The offer closes tomorrow, May 15, which means that you’d better hurry up!
Here’s a new press release that Jonas Ek from TGG quotes:
The Prague-based (Czech Republic) indie games publisher Fulqrum Publishing and Sievierodonetsk-based (Ukraine) indie games developer Best Way, are today very happy and thrilled to announce that they have just kicked-off the open PC beta for their upcoming WWII RTS “Men of War II” (the said open PC beta is available right now via Steam until May 15th).
You might be tempted to believe that running the game will cost you an arm and a leg. We can actually expect that the game will be free of charge, considering that there’s no price displayed on its Steam page.
For donkey’s years, those who are passionate about history demand to see an accurate and exciting WWII-based game. Is Men of War II the right one?
