WhatsApp has become a brand, a name that everyone recognizes, and which is associated with quality and success. Because the application has more users than any other application, over 800 people using it daily. The largest percentage is represented by the Android users and the developers focused more on them, prioritizing them when it came to the addition of new features, and they were the first ones to test the voice calling feature. A few days ago, WhatsApp posted the 2.12.67 beta version on its website, but after checking over the internet, we found out that the 2.12.69 is already out.
If you are an Android user and want to be up-to-date with the latest changes in WhatsApp, download the 2.12.69 beta version from apkmirror. On WhatsApp’s website, you can still see the 2.12.67 version, which means that there isn’t any solid information about this nee beta version, but what we can tell you is that the APK file has a size of 16.72MB, while the 2.12.67 version was 19.65MB. So, many files have been removed, but we couldn’t notice any important changes. Do not mistake 2.12.69 with the version for Asha, so, when you search on Google for the Android version, don’t forget to write the name of the OS you’re using.
The new version brings minor bug fixes and improvements, but it doesn’t support backing up chats on Google Drive. This option is available only on the version 2.12.45 alpha or the version 2.12.58 beta version. The audio quality has been improved for voice calling, but the service is still eating a lot of mobile data. Unless you have unlimited mobile data, if you have a wireless network nearby, it’s recommendable to connect to the internet via a router, because voice calls will eat your data fast, almost as fast as voice calls on Skype, but for now, the quality of WhatsApp’s voice calls isn’t as great as expected.
If you want to chat on WhatsApp from your computer, use the Web feature and one of these three browsers: Chrome, Firefox or Opera. Go to web.whatsapp.com and scan the QR code with your phone’s camera, from inside the WhatsApp app.
Remember that when you install a new WhatsApp version from other sources than Google Play, you must enable the Unknown Sources option from your smartphone.
