WhatsApp 2.11.634.0 for Windows Phone
Currently, there is no official change log of this new version of WhatsApp for Windows Phone. Until the developers of WhatsApp will decide to reveal the change log, we’re going to talk about some of the current features that you can find on this great application.
Using WhatsApp you will be able to send and receive messages, photos, video and audio files. In order to use WhatsApp you will only need an internet connection (Wi-Fi or data carrier), so there are no extra fees that you must pay in order to use it, instead of paying 1dollar annually after trial time ends (after 1 year).
On WhatsApp you will also be able to create groups or send unlimited audio files, images and messages to them. With other words, you will be able to add more friends to a group chat and be able to chat with all of them in the same time. You will be able to set a profile picture for your WhatsApp account and decide if you want to make it public for everyone or just for your contacts.
In case your friends are not from your country, you will not need to pay any extra fees if you chat with them. This way, instead of using the traditional SMS service from your carrier and pay extra fees for sending messages to your friends, you will not have to pay anything else except for the data plan from your carrier or if there is Wi-Fi available around you, you can just use the Wi-Fi connection.
WhatsApp doesn’t use a username or passwords and instead, your “ID” is your mobile phone number. After you register to WhatsApp, the application will automatically look on your contact list and if it detects someone who’s having a WhatsApp account under their phone number, it will add him/her on your WhatsApp list of friends.
You can also use push notifications and let your WhatsApp 24/7 connected to the internet. However, your battery will get wasted a bit faster than usual and if you don’t have unlimited data plan, that could be a problem. If somehow you are offline and someone sends you a message, you will receive it as soon as you log into the application. You can use custom wallpapers, custom notification sounds, exchange contact, share locations and many more.
